What is Sound?

What is sound? Waves and their interactions are a big part of the physical science curriculum. Are you looking for a unique way to engage your students? Are you looking for a hands-on STEM activity that will demonstrate the concepts? Ignite your students’ curiosities with this package examining sound waves.

Most students can tell us what sound is, but they may struggle to explain how it works. This comic illustrated the concept of sound and explains how it relates to energy. Students will read about vibrations, sound waves, air particles, and hearing. They will examine colorful diagrams of sound waves and the internal structure of an ear. Your learners will gain a much better understanding of the concept with this engaging comic.

7. Advanced Doodle Notes Version– Draw what you are learning! Many words remain, but images are missing. Students draw them in.
